The architecture is known to be very different to any property you would find in the island. Our water tower is an elliptical cinnamon-clad edifice with a dramatic 360° viewing deck and is the center of the property. Our 21 meter infinity pool is one of the most photographed pools in the island with breathtaking lake views. Tri offers many locations for that perfect click for the gram, all you need to do is decide what location is the best!.
Tri was the first sustainable contemporary property in Sri lanka. We intend on reducing carbon footprint annually and promoting sustainable practices at all times. Windows, doors, flooring and cladding have been crafted from entirely recycled wood. A mangrove planting and shoreline protection programme has been initiated to tackle lakeshore erosion. We committed to reversing habitat degradation, increasing flora and fauna and planting indigenous trees and bushes. We have stopped the use of plastic at the property.
We would always recommend a minimum two night stay at the property to really enjoy the surroundings and calmness of the property. Be sure to check out our library, book a morning yoga class and enjoy the spa while you stay with us. Our front office will assist you with all your requirements.
We accept children aged above 10 due to health and safety restrictions. The property is most popular with couples.
The property is located on a hill hence all our rooms have stairways, which do not allow any wheelchair access. Howver, we do attempt to be as helpful as possible to our differently-abled guests in order to ensure that they are not faced with any inconvenience.
Yes, we do give out the whole property which is 11 rooms. You can get in touch with our reservations for special rates if you are looking for a buyout of the property.
We do not have the facility of chauffeur accommodation at the property, however we would assist you to book lodging for the chauffeur at a cost in a nearby location. We recommend you book ahead during the season.
Yes, we offer day packages for guests to come enjoy the pool and our restaurant. You need to make prior reservations and the reservation will be confirmed based on the occupancy of the property. You can contact our reservations to check on availability.
There are some beautiful trails to discover from Tri, you can use the bicycles and explore the surroundings. Our Koggala lake boat ride is popular with guests as it’s filled with some fascinating facts. Make sure to stop at cinnamon island and see how cinnamon is made. If you love Sri Lankan food, join our chef and learn to cook authentic Sri Lankan curries. All these experiences can be arranged at the property at a cost.
Our property is located bordering the Koggala Lake. The nearest beach in Ahangama or Koggala is 20 minutes away by car.
