Tri was our first stop in Sri Lanka and it lived up to the hype.
A beautiful retreat nestled on Koggala lake with stunning views and instagram worthy details.
A boutique property that mixes the lushness of it’s natural habitat with gorgeous architecture.
The vision is clear.
It feels like you are living on a lake house and you instantly decide to cancel all your plans and surrender to just exist here.
While it’s bright during the day, at night the moon reflects off the lake and it’s a sight to behold.
When not in the picturesque infinity pool we indulged in a boat trip around the lake to cinnamon island which is a cherished memory from the trip.
The three days we spent here went laughing, indulging in some really good fish and chips, sipping on some cocktails made by Roshan and going to the spa.
By the end of the three days we were not looking forward to leaving and already planning our next trip back.
A special thank you to David, the hotel manager and now a friend, who went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was fun, comfortable and extremely memorablle.
